AJ is excited to serve as the Special Assistant to the CEO for the College for Social Innovation. Prior to joining the College for Social Innovation, AJ worked as a senior counselor and director of the Mission Hill Summer Program, a nonprofit academic summer camp run by the Phillips Brooks House Association. At the Mission Hill Summer Program, AJ worked to provide high quality academic and personal enrichment programming to the students and families in the Mission Hill neighborhood of Boston.

In addition to his summers of service, AJ worked year round as a mentor and after school tutor for young people in both the Mission Hill and Franklin Field neighborhoods of Boston. He also served as a member of the Public Service Network’s trainer core, developing and delivering training to new volunteers in mentoring and after school programs. His passion for public service and innovation in education is firmly rooted in his time spent serving the low-income communities of Boston. AJ graduated from Harvard College in 2017 with a degree in History and Science.
