Associate Manager of Internships

Ellie Carver is proud to serve as the Associate Manager of Internships at College for Social Innovation. This role allows Ellie to combine her love for building and cultivating relationships, meaningful cross-sector partnerships and her passion for developing and supporting young people. Ellie is excited by the opportunity to contribute to Fellows' Semester in the City experiences by supporting their meaningful internship experiences in the social sector.

Ellie received her Bachelor’s degree from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. There, she double majored in Spanish and Psychology. Though Ellie did not have a formal internship opportunity, she was able to gain hands-on learning experience as a Bonner Scholar, volunteering with local organizations for 10 hours a week.  Following graduation, Ellie started to build her professional career in the nonprofit sector. First, Ellie completed two years of service with City Year Boston. In her first year, she mentored as a near-peer in Roxbury, then transitioned to co-lead a team through a service year in Jamaica Plain. Most recently, Ellie worked at City Year's national office, supporting special projects and the operations for the National Impact team.

Ellie is so excited to join the College for Social Innovation team.
