Marissa Rodriguez serves as the Program Director for Internships at College for Social Innovation.  In this role, Marissa combines her background in learning & development, program design, and curriculum development with a passion for supporting young leaders and building learning communities. Marissa has always welcomed innovative learning experiences in her own education, which included graduating from Penn State University with a degree in Letters, Arts and Sciences featuring a self-designed major entitled Studies in Social Change. She holds a graduate certificate in Adult & Organizational Learning from Northeastern University and is currently there pursuing a Masters in E-Learning & Instructional Design.

Marissa’s own social sector journey started with her high school job at United Way of Anchorage and continued with three years of AmeriCorps service, first with City Year New Hampshire and then as a VISTA with Jumpstart for Young Children’s national office. After her years of National Service, Marissa was fortunate to spend eight years at Scholar Athletes. Her time there started in a direct service role as a Program Coordinator at The English High School and culminated as the Director of Learning and Program Development.

Marissa started her journey with CfSI as a consultant in early 2018 and was thrilled to join the staff team fulltime in August of the same year.
