ASHLEY GUNN

Director of Internships

Ashley Gunn is the Director of Internships at the College for Social Innovation. In her role, she leads the team responsible for sourcing, selecting and supporting excellent internship experiences with Boston's leading social sector organizations.

Ashley has spent her career in the world of higher education and nonprofit consulting. After graduating from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) she served as an AmeriCorps member with LIFT (formerly National Student Partnerships) where she managed a community resource center run by college students. Inspired by the potential college students have to create systemic change in their communities, she pursued her graduate degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs at the University of Vermont (UVM - Go Cats!) where she focused on college student development. After completing her degree she worked in the UVM Admissions department for a few years before relocating to Boston. During her time in Boston she has supported first generation college students through her work with Bottom Line MA and built her professional experience in knowledge management as a knowledge specialist at The Bridgespan Group. Most recently, she served as a consultant with the Nonprofit Finance Fund.

Ashley is excited to return to her original passion - supporting students in their personal and professional journeys with social change. Outside of work she enjoys traveling with her partner, brunch with friends, surfing, rock climbing, writing and a good book!
