Ruby Maddox has over seventeen years of experience in higher education administration and nonprofit management. As the founder of Gardening the Community, she directed an impactful urban agriculture program, which taught kids in Springfield, MA how to grow food. An advocate for international education, Maddox has coordinated international internships and facilitated leadership development experiences for U.S. students in Ghana. In her previous positions at Mount Holyoke College and Clark University, Ruby established dynamic strategic partnerships and oversaw student engagement initiatives. She is known for her organizational strategic planning work as the owner and director of Direct Your Purpose Coaching & Consulting. Ruby is a TEDx speaker and a 40 under 40 BusinessWest Awardee. She also holds an M.S. in Nonprofit Management and Philanthropy and a B.A. in Public Policy and Urban Communities.
