Requirements:

Only Juniors and Seniors may do internships for credit.

Internal Application:

Complete BSU’s Application for Internship in consultation with your department’s faculty internship advisor.


Credit:

  • 2.5 eligibility (some departments have a higher limit)

  • Every major may be slightly different in number of credits allowed for internships

  • Most students get 12 credits (FT status)

  • Students may be eligible for a full semester of internship credit depending on major/department requirements. Student should be able to look up their major and INT 498 course at BSU. Students should consult with the faculty internship coordinator in their major.

  • Faculty INT coordinator (BSU login required)

  • Course Catalog

  • Navigate to Catalog Search → Search *Your Major* 498 → Find “Internship in *Your Major* and review requirements, including allowable credits

  • All academic work done by Bridgewater State students under the auspices of CFSI will be regarded by Bridgewater State as in-residence credit.

  • However, it shall be the sole responsibility of Bridgewater State to decide how many Bridgewater State credit units and what Bridgewater State grades said student may receive for their academic work at the CFSI

Billing & Financial Aid:

  • Students pay home institution standard tuition/fees. Institution pays UNH.

  • Internship stipend students can apply for is need based, up to $5k

  • Financial aid transfers with no extra fees
