Reporting to the Co-Founder and CEO, the Special Assistant to the CEO will play a key role in advancing College for Social Innovation’s overall strategy as well as launching a new alumni initiative to support a growing network of CFSI alumni.  The right candidate will be an adept communicator; facile with PowerPoint, Excel, and Social Media; and possess strong writing and research as well as interpersonal/organizing skills.

Associate Manager of Internships

Reporting to the Program Director for Internships, the Associate Manager of Internships will play an important role in delivering a critical aspect of our program model by supporting the delivery of an excellent internship experience for both the college students, also known as fellows enrolled in our program and our mentors. The mentor serves as the fellow’s primary point of contact at the internship. Through the analysis of feedback data from both mentors and fellows, site visits to fellow internships throughout the semester, and coaching to both fellows and mentors, the Associate Manager plays a critical support role in the overall quality of the Semester in the City (SITC) experience for our key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will bring critical thinking and relationship building skills in order to effectively support students and social sector partners. While the primary role of the Associate Manager will emphasize delivering an excellent internship experience for the mentor and fellow, the Associate Manager will also work on cross-functional teams to support the ongoing growth and expansion of the SITC program. This is an ideal role for an emerging professional interested in developing a wide variety of a core professional skills in a growing organization.

Adjunct Educator of Social Innovation

Reporting to the Chief Academic Officer (CAO), you will serve as co-teacher of our “Social Innovator’s Tool Box” course (SITB) held every Wednesday evening from 4-7pm in Kendall Square from September 11 through December 14, 2019, with a possible extension into the spring semester. The CfSI Co-Founder and CEO will also co-teach some SITB classes and in addition to working closely with the CAO, you will work with the CEO and other members of the Program team. You may also have the opportunity to facilitate some sessions for the “Becoming a Problem Solver” course which is held every Friday from 9:30-3pm in downtown Boston in partnership with our Chief Program Officer.
