Student Ambassador at Wheaton College
Chloe is a junior Design major with a Marketing minor. She’s originally from Addison, Maine. She was a Semester in the City Fellow in Spring 2026 as a Social Media & Marketing Fellow at Berklee Institute for Accessible Arts Education.
On campus, Chloe is a member of Ceramics Club, Radio Show Host on Wheaton College Radio Station, Inaugural Campus Ambassador for the Mitchell Foundation and employee at Flint Farm. The Ham, Egg & Cheese takes up most of her Lyons Bucks. She enjoys live music, art, graphic design, traveling, film photography, being outside, and thrifting. This year, she hopes to learn how to sew & repurpose clothes she’s thrifted.
Q: How did you find out about SITC & why did you decide to participate in it?
A: “I found out about it from a friend who took part in the program. I wanted to experience living in a city with people my age, while also gaining valuable work experience.”
Q: What are you passionate about?
A: “I'm passionate about art and helping others discover their creativity. I think that everyone is creative in some way, and it's so inspiring to see others find that part of themselves. I work with children in the summer, and I enjoy walking them through different art activities they end up loving.”
Q: What motivates you?
A: “I'm motivated to succeed at whatever I put my mind to. I've never been great at being bad at things, which can be extremely frustrating, but also greatly motivating. There is no feeling like accomplishing something I put my mind to and worked hard for.”
Q: Can you tell us about a memorable moment from your internship?
A: “The highlight of my internship was being a room monitor for our Annual Conference. It wasn't a difficult job on my end, but the speeches and presentations I witnessed were so moving and gave me an even deeper understanding of Berklee Institute for Accessible Arts Education's mission. It was truly a culminating moment for my time at my placement site.”
Q: What do you wish you knew before participating in Semester in the City?
A: “It has easily been my best semester, and I can't say enough good things about the program. I wish I had known how tight the community within the program would be. We really all had each other's backs and would spend a bunch of time together outside of work or classes. We'd have a movie night and then a game night a couple nights later. There was always something fun going on!”
