Emily Saba
Manager of Internships & Case Managment
Emily Saba is the Manager of Internships and Case Management at College for Social Innovation. In this role, she helps support the Semester in the City experience for both fellows and mentors and also provides mental health and wellness support for those in need.
Emily is a licensed certified social worker (LCSW) in Massachusetts who has over 5 years of experience in both community and clinical mental health. Emily has extensive experience providing assessment, case management, clinical therapy, crisis management, safety planning and stabilization to a wide range of clients. She has worked in a variety of settings including non-profits, schools, hospitals, homes, and clinics, helping adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, adjustment disorder, trauma, PTSD, and substance use.
Emily graduated from Binghamton University (SUNY) with a bachelor’s degree in Integrative Neuroscience. She completed her Master of Social Work degree with a specialization in clinical mental health from Boston College. She also has a certification in Neuroscience and Social Work from Boston College. Emily has a strong interest in how the brain works and influences our biopsychosocial functioning, specifically neuroplasticity. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her pets, traveling, and crocheting.
