Kate LaVigne

Kate LaVigne is the Manager of Operations for Semester for Impact. In her role, she helps create and build an administrative structure to support students, faculty, and staff involved in the program.

After graduating from Colby College, Kate started her career at Teach for America, Junior Achievement, and Citizen Schools.  She then received her Master’s in Counseling from Boston College and worked in high schools on the South Shore. Since then, she has been a mom, interior designer, organizer, and Director of Operations and HR at a local healthy meal delivery company. After years of raising kids and putting her family first, Kate was able to return to her original passion - education and social change.

In her free time, Kate enjoys spending time with her kids, traveling, reading, and playing in the ocean.
