Q: What did you do in your role during Semester in the City?
A: “I learned about it through a brief class presentation from Eric, and I loved the idea of being matched with an experiential learning opportunity that fits your career goals, and I really needed the change of scenery.”
Q: How did you know Semester in the City was right for you?
A: “I found out about SITC from a friend/student who had done the program and only had great things to say. From there, it didn't take much convincing. I decided to participate in the program because I thought it would be a great way to get my foot into the working world with the safety net of still being in college.”
Q: What are you passionate about?
A: “I’m passionate about advocacy, creativity, and supporting youth. I enjoy learning about different cultures and languages as a way to build cultural competency and create more inclusive spaces.”
Q: What are some of your interests?
A: “I love music, watercolor painting, anything film related, learning languages, collecting cute trinkets, and beauty (skincare and makeup).”
Q: If you could visit a fictional world for a day & be immersed in it, where would you go?
A: “Pixie Hollow or anywhere in the Barbie Cinematic Universe like Fairytopia.. I wanna be a mermaid fairy princess so bad.”
Q: What motivates you?
A: “Learning new things, having an impact on people, forming meaningful connections, and making sure people feel heard. I’m motivated by not only personal growth but also helping others feel supported and empowered, while continuing to learn, grow, and connect across cultures and communities.”
