Evaluations AmeriCorps VISTA
Senya Urbom serves as the Evaluations AmeriCorps VISTA member at the College for Social Innovation. Senya graduated from Colorado College with a B.A. in Economics. During her time in college, she worked as a data intern at Verdant Associates, working on evaluation and research efforts within the clean energy industry. On campus, Senya worked as an economics tutor at the Quantitative Reasoning Center, and as a researcher on various projects for the College's President's Office and Enrollment Division, where she gained valuable experience in higher education research, data collection, and analysis.
Throughout her undergraduate education, she participated in experiential education experiences such as an urban planning and sustainability focused study abroad semester in Copenhagen and a Boston based course in the economics of Innovation. She is looking forward to contributing towards the evaluation work of CfSI. Outside of work, she enjoys anything outdoors (hiking, biking, running) and reading and playing card games in coffee shops. Having lived in Southeast Asia, Virginia, and Colorado, she is excited to spend some time in the Northeast.
