In Fall 2023, Aicha was the Development and Communications Fellow at 826 Boston, where she worked alongside the DevoComm team to support the onsite afterschool program. She enjoyed seeing the kids come into the program and the mix of hands-on experiences and backend fundraising efforts.
After graduating from Colby College in 2024 with a degree in Psychology and minors in French & Francophone Studies + Cinema Studies, Aicha’s first post-grad role was working with kids in ABA, where she loved the daily interactions with students and supporting a lead instructor in a classroom setting. It was immensely rewarding. She then moved on to a sales development role at Workday (with no sales background!), where she continues to work on public speaking, relationship building, leadership, and marketing. Aicha also did a residency at Workday—similar to CFSI—and was hired as a full-time employee after the program, with recommendations based on her work ethic, organizational skills, confidence, and networking with fellow workmates.
What sparks you to make change?
